Windows 8 is recently launched by Microsoft, has no reason to be avoided. The clean design is so attractive that once you use it you will definitely get others using the same OS. Integration of social networking and keeping options easy with Internet updates is making it more popular. You need to open a browser or an application to view the updates, but with Windows 8 you can check out the updates syncing in the Tile view of the Desktop.

The modern user interface in Windows 8 can be worked with a mouse or a keyboard. In new laptops you can even use it as touch screen which can be folded and used as tablets. With the updated hardware from the companies are also allowing operating systems to boost up the performance by giving USB 3.0 support.

What is the minimum requirement to install Windows 8?

Please note: if you are installing Windows 8 from a scratch in a new laptop or desktop, driver support may not be available. Windows may gradually update the drivers when Windows updates run but I am not sure on the same.

How can you get Windows 8 or upgrade your pirated copy?

You can upgrade your current Windows OS(which includes Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7) to Windows 8 for $39.99. If you have bought a copy of Windows 7 in between 2nd June 2012 to 31 January 2013 you get an upgrade offer which is just $14.99.

Now, the deal is that you can upgrade even the pirated copy and old Windows version to Windows 7 for just $14.99. If this trick do not work, you may be blocked to follow further steps with the promo code you received in the mail. This is a loop-hole as of now, may change later. Microsoft is somehow allowing Windows users to upgrade the OS in just INR 699.00. Since, I do not have a copy of pirated Windows I haven’t tried this. Windows upgrade offer is available for limited time.
